The existing floor concrete and stripes had
to be primed with oil-based Kilz.

We then start laying the patterns
of Overlay(top right).

Scoops of Overlay outline
where the main walk will be.

These windows later became
a large entrance door.

Now the chore of
mixing Overlay begins again.

Dumping 15 gallons at a time,
screed rakes spread the Overlay.

Once it starts to set,
the stamping begins.

Now we're seeing
something taking shape.

All stamping is done,
and the paper is pulled.

Chalk lines were snapped
for strait edges.

Diamond-blade saws cut
the excees off the floor.

Floors were stained and
the final path was taped.

Overlay was tinted with powder-pigments,
and poured into place.

We troweled-down the Overlay,
and removed tape.

Everything is mopped, and
we're now ready for Topcoat.

Topcoat makes the whole floor
look like it's new again.

Final results...

...a durable finish.
